For some, juicing is a way to get into routines. It’s a start to their day. It helps them get into the groove of things when they’ve just barely woken up. 

For others, juicing is a way to destress. Think of it as juicing for mental health. When they get overwhelmed, they get up and make themselves a juice. They get time to just not think about whatever’s bothering them - even for a short time.

It’s a classic for many reasons. Orange juice is a breakfast staple for many households and diners. They even serve it on planes and you can easily get them almost everywhere you go. 

That’s because orange juice is filled with the ever-so-important vitamin C. Starting off your day with some OJ can leave you feeling confident and ready to seize the day. Your immune system will also thank you for giving it that extra boost it needs. 

While wonderful with almost every meal (and during snack time), we think everyone agrees breakfast is orange juice’s time to shine. 

Coconut Juice or Coconut Water

Refreshing, hydrating, and full of electrolytes, coconut juice is a great level-up to water. It’s like water, but it’s got more nutrients in it!

You can enjoy coconut water as it is. That will be a tasty drink already! For us, we like to add it to juice blends. Adding water will literally water down your juices, hence the term. Coconut juice behaves just like water in that it can help make your juices thinner and easier to drink - only it can add both flavor and so much more.

Try drinking coconut juice or coconut water juice blends before, during, or after your workouts. Some folks do recommend eating before drinking straight coconut water to avoid tummy troubles. Take note!

Ginger or Any Kind of Juice Shots

Juice shots! We’ve all seen and heard of them. You usually see ginger and turmeric blends or simple shots of vitamin C. 

Juice shots are the easiest to drink. As the name suggests, it’s just downing your drink in one go. Though it usually won’t stack up against a tall glass of juice. Juice shots may also come with some added ingredients to make sure they give you more benefits, but do make sure to read the labels to make sure those are things you want to be drinking. Some of those added ingredients may not be all good for you! 

The best time to take your juice shots would probably be in the morning or as a midday boost. They’re often small enough so packing them in a bag won’t be too troublesome. 

Green Juice

The ‘ol reliable. If the only thing you know is that you need a healthy drink, then grab a green juice. These are usually packed with superfoods like kale!

Green juices are usually made with greens like kale, cucumber, and celery. Other ingredients like ginger, apples, or some sweet fruits are added to make them taste better and healthier. Green juices are safe picks for those who are trying to live healthier lives. The more they get into meal planning and nutrition, the more you can dial in your green juice needs.

Did you know green juice and coffee don’t mix - and we’re not just talking flavors here! The acidity of coffee can cause a reaction if you have it close to green juice. It’s better to drink your green juice first thing in the morning, an hour before you have your brew.
