Little West’s Gold’n Greens is a green juice with a heart of gold. This cold pressed juice has a tropical pineapple base, meaning it’s bursting with bromelain! Bromelain is a potent enzyme found in pineapple that’s known to support digestion and immune system health. It’s suggested bromelain may even help fight certain cancers. Impressive, right?
What else puts the gold in Gold’n Greens? Fresh turmeric juice! Turmeric is one of the most potent anti-inflammatory ingredients on the planet thanks to a bioactive compound called curcumin. At Little West, we always use fresh, raw turmeric root instead of powdered or concentrated. This helps preserve the kale, pineapple, and cucumber juice benefits and other raw ingredients.
What makes Gold'n Greens different from the green juices on grocery store shelves? Two things. First, we cold press fresh raw turmeric root rather than dropping in powdered turmeric extract, so the active curcumin stays bioavailable, the way nature delivered it. Second, the pineapple gets pressed whole, which preserves the bromelain enzyme that pasteurized juices have heat-killed. The kale, lemon, and cucumber round out the blend with chlorophyll, vitamin C, and hydration. A real anti-inflammatory protocol in one tropical, drinkable bottle.
Bromelain is a natural enzyme that only exists in fresh pineapple. It helps your body break down protein and reduce inflammation. Most “bromelain” products are pasteurized or capsule-form, which destroys most of the active enzyme. Raw cold pressed pineapple keeps bromelain in its active form, which is why Gold’n Greens hits differently than supplement-store turmeric blends.
Bromelain has been shown in studies to reduce delayed-onset muscle soreness, and the turmeric adds curcumin for additional anti-inflammatory support. Many customers drink Gold’n Greens within an hour of finishing intense workouts (running, lifting, CrossFit) and report less next-day stiffness. The pineapple also helps with post-workout protein digestion.
The pineapple is the dominant flavor. It brings natural sweetness, brightness, and acidity that balances the kale and dandelion. The turmeric adds a warm earthy finish at the end of the sip rather than overpowering the front. It’s why Gold’n Greens is often the green juice that converts skeptics. It doesn’t taste like a green juice.
Zero caffeine, zero added sugar, zero concentrates. The natural sugar comes from pineapple and apple. The energy lift comes from the bromelain-supported nutrient absorption plus the natural carbohydrate fuel. We use fresh raw turmeric root rather than dried powder so the active curcumin compounds stay intact.
Two best windows. Post-workout: within an hour of finishing exercise to reduce soreness. Post-meal: after a heavier protein meal to help digestion and reduce post-meal sluggishness. Mid-afternoon also works as a tropical pick-me-up. The natural pineapple sugar gives steady energy without a crash. Drink cold, ideally over ice.
