Pineapple Juice Recipe

So we know that not everybody has a juicer, which is why we’ve got a tasty pineapple juice recipe for you that can be made in a blender too!

First things first, you’ve got to pick the right pineapple! For the most delicious juice, you ideally want the ripest fruit. The best way to check this is by looking at the “eyes” on the skin, the larger they are, the riper the fruit. You can also give your fruit a little squeeze to make sure there’s a little bit of give - this is a tell-tale sign of ripeness!

Ingredients

  • 1 x Medium Sized Fresh Pineapple
  • 2 x Tbsps Sugar
  • 1 x Juice of ½ a lemon
  • 1 x Cup of Water

Method

Peel the pineapple and chop it up into chunks, then add it into your blender or juicer followed by the sugar. Pour in your lemon juice and water into the mix and blend/juice away!

If you prefer juice that doesn’t contain any bits, you can use a very fine strainer to get rid of all of the pulp. Then, hey presto, serve over ice!
