$79.20Cold pressed juice is juice made without heat at any stage of production. Instead of using high-speed spinning blades (the way most supermarket juicers and centrifugal juicers work), cold pressed juice is made by placing fresh fruits and vegetables inside a filter bag and applying thousands of pounds of pressure with a hydraulic press. No blades. No friction. No heat.
That single difference matters because heat — whether from blade friction or from pasteurization — degrades the same nutrients you're juicing for. Vitamin C, certain B vitamins, polyphenol antioxidants, and digestive enzymes are all heat-sensitive. The cold pressed method skips both heat sources, which is why a cold pressed bottle can use the exact same produce as a regular juice bottle and end up with measurably more nutrition and a brighter, fresher flavor.
To make cold pressed juice safe to ship and shelf-stable, most premium brands — including Little West — treat finished bottles with HPP (High Pressure Processing). HPP uses pressure (not heat) to neutralize harmful bacteria while preserving the live nutrients. It's why every bottle of Little West cold pressed juice is safe for kids, pregnant or nursing mothers, and the immunocompromised, without ever being heat pasteurized.

There are a lot of bottles on supermarket shelves that say "cold pressed" on the label. The differences are in the things the label doesn't have to print.
Every Little West juice contains exactly two kinds of ingredients: fruits and vegetables. We never add sugar, sugar alcohols, artificial sweeteners, "natural flavors", citric acid, water, or concentrates. If a label says "from concentrate" anywhere on it, it's not the same product as ours.
One 12 oz Little West juice contains the juiced equivalent of 2–4 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables — roughly the daily produce intake the USDA recommends for an adult. Most supermarket juices are diluted with water or made from concentrate; we are neither.
Our produce is locally sourced from small West Coast farms and pressed within 48 hours of being picked. The shorter that gap, the more vitamin and enzyme content survives into the bottle. Mass-market juice can sit for weeks or months as concentrate before being reconstituted — the difference shows up on the first sip.
Most large juice brands press each ingredient separately in mass quantities and combine the resulting single-juice streams later. We juice every ingredient in a recipe together, in small batches. The result is a richer, brighter, more nuanced flavor than blending pressed juices after the fact.
Little West was founded by Andrew and Cassandra as the cold pressed juice they wished existed: pure ingredients, no shortcuts, made on the West Coast. Every recipe is one we'd serve our own families.
The right Little West juice depends on what you're trying to feel. A quick guide:
If this is your first cold pressed juice, start here. Our most-loved bundle for new juicers is the Classics Sampler — a curated mix of our greens, fruit, and root juices so you can find your favorite. For a single-flavor staple, the green-juice lovers go for The Clover or Detox Greens; the citrus crowd goes straight for our Pure Orange Juice.
Beet, carrot, and ginger blends give a clean, sustained lift without caffeine. Try the Classics Sampler if you don't know which root juice fits your palate yet, or the Dracula Blood Orange Juice for a citrus-forward energy hit.
The Immune Booster Juice Kit bundles 12 bottles for two weeks of daily immune support — ginger, turmeric, citrus, and dark leafy greens. Add our immunity shots for a 2 oz daily ritual you can keep up year-round.
The Anti-Inflammation Kit is built around turmeric, ginger, dark greens, and tart cherries — all studied for their anti-inflammatory properties.
Our cleanse program ranges from a focused 2–3 day reset to a full week. Start with the Classic 2 or 3 Day Juice Cleanse if you're new, the 5 or 7 Day Juice Cleanse Kit for a longer reset, the Low Sugar Cleanse if you're managing sugar intake, or the Deep Detox Cleanse Kit for a full body reset. The full overview lives on our juice cleanse hub.
Watermelon, cucumber, and citrus-forward juices. Our Quench Watermelon Juice is the team favorite for post-workout recovery — the natural L-citrulline in watermelon is well studied for muscle recovery.
Every Little West cold pressed juice goes through the same five-step process:
This is why a Little West bottle has a 30–45 day refrigerated shelf life rather than the 6–12 month ambient shelf life of pasteurized supermarket juice. We trade shelf life for the nutritional and flavor profile of fresh juice.
Cold pressed juice needs to stay cold. An unopened bottle of Little West juice keeps for 30–45 days from press date when refrigerated continuously between 33–40°F. Once opened, drink within 24–48 hours for best flavor and nutrition.
You can freeze cold pressed juice for up to 3 months — leave 1 inch of headspace in the bottle for expansion, freeze immediately, and thaw in the fridge (never on the counter). For the full breakdown, see our deep-dive on cold pressed juice shelf life.
Every order ships in insulated packaging with ice packs. We deliver free across California on orders $50+, and ship cold across the lower 48. Subscribe for weekly or biweekly delivery and we'll skip the friction entirely.
If you're comparing cold pressed juice to a $3 carton of pasteurized supermarket OJ, the per-ounce price difference reflects three things: 2–4 lbs of fresh produce per bottle (most cheap juice is diluted or from concentrate), small-batch pressing instead of mass extraction, and refrigerated cold-chain distribution instead of shelf-stable pasteurization. For drinkers seeking the nutritional and flavor benefits of fresh juice, yes — the spend maps to the product. For occasional kitchen-table juice, regular juice is fine.
Only fruits and vegetables. Every recipe lists every ingredient on the label. We never use concentrates, added water, added sugars, sugar alcohols, artificial sweeteners, "natural flavors", citric acid, or preservatives.
Refrigerated and unopened, every Little West bottle stays fresh until the "Enjoy By" date printed on the label. It's usually several weeks after your purchase. Once opened, drink within 3 days. Juice must always be kept refrigerated.
No — Little West juices are not USDA Certified Organic. Every bottle is Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Paleo, Vegan, Gluten-Free, and BPA-Free. We source from small West Coast farms whose practices align with our quality standards, and many of those growers use organic or regenerative methods. For the full list and copies of our certifications, see our certifications page.
Our bottles are 100% recyclable PET. We continue to evaluate glass and other lower-impact options as the cold-chain delivery infrastructure matures.
We ship to any home address across the continental United States. Unfortunately, we can't currently ship to P.O. Boxes. Ordering from Canada? Please visit our Canadian website.

Yes. Because we use HPP (High Pressure Processing) instead of heat pasteurization, every bottle is safe for pregnancy, nursing, and immunocompromised drinkers without sacrificing nutritional content. Always check with your OB if you have specific dietary restrictions.
