If the idea of a full overhaul makes you cringe, try a different angle! Many of us will be ringing in the new year with, no shame in this, a heavy gut. And what better way to get a reset than with some au natural cold pressed juices?
The great thing about a New Year detox is that there are different levels one can try. A detox can be as simple as drinking an uber beneficial bottle to a longer cleanse.
Ginger is warming, aromatic, and widely used to soothe digestion and reduce nausea. It contains bioactive compounds that may reduce inflammation and support stomach comfort, which makes it an excellent anchor for a short reset. Use fresh slices in hot water, grated in broths, or blended into smoothies for a gentle digestive lift.
In Little West’s Gingersnap, ginger is the hero that defines the whole profile. The juice uses fresh ginger to provide that immediate warming sensation and to balance sweeter ingredients. Ginger’s bite keeps the drink lively and helps the other components land as refreshing rather than cloying. For anyone who wants a juice that supports digestion and feels like a small, restorative ritual, Gingersnap is built around that.
Lemon water is a simple hydration booster that adds vitamin C and flavor. It encourages fluid intake and can help establish a morning ritual. Be mindful that frequent acidic drinks may affect tooth enamel, so sip through a straw or rinse with plain water afterward.
Little West’s Cold Pressed Celery Juice Blend lemon acts as the perfect complement. The citrus cuts through celery’s vegetal edge and adds a clean, zesty finish that makes the blend more approachable. Lemon brightens the overall flavor without masking the celery, so the drink remains crisp and refreshing. If you want a juice that is both cleansing and easy to sip (drinking straight up lemon juice is only for the brave), the lemon in this blend is the balancing element that keeps it enjoyable.
Kale went from trendy to tacky to trendy again in just a few short years. Listen. Kale is simply good for you. It is nutrient-dense, offering vitamins K and C, fiber, and antioxidants. It is versatile in soups, smoothies, and light sautés, and helps add bulk and micronutrients without heaviness.
Gold’n Greens is a kale blend, so you can bet it’s packed with nutrients. The juice uses kale to deliver a dense, vitamin rich base that pairs well with sweeter or brighter ingredients. Kale’s earthiness gives the blend depth and ensures each sip carries meaningful nutrition. If you want a green juice that feels like a genuine health boost rather than a light refreshment, kale is the ingredient that makes Gold’n Greens feel substantial.
Beet is the earthy, vibrant root that supports circulation and stamina. Rich in dietary nitrates, beets can help support healthy blood flow and endurance, which is why athletes and many active folks often include them in pre-workout meals and smoothies. Beets also bring a natural sweetness and a striking color that makes any juice feel celebratory. Their flavor pairs well with lemon, apple, and ginger, which helps balance their earthiness. Heck, they can even mellow out the grassy notes of wheatgrass. This is evidenced by…
Beet is the color and performance boost Go Big needs. The beet’s natural sugars round out bitter greens like kale, and its nitrates add a functional edge for anyone looking for stamina or circulation support. Go Big uses beets to create taste and packed drink loaded with benefits.
If they’re good enough for Bugs (yes, the Mr. Bugs Bunny), then they’re good enough for us. Carrot is a workhorse loaded with beta carotene and gentle sweetness. They’ve been hammering this info into our brains since we were kids. Carrots are good for the eyes! Carrots blend smoothly and pair well with ginger, citrus, and leafy greens - but they are also forgiving in flavor, which makes them an excellent way to add nutrients without changing the drink’s overall character.
Sunrise relies on carrot’s goodness to bring both sweetness and body. The carrot’s natural sugars balance sharper ingredients and create a smooth, drinkable texture. Sunrise uses carrots to deliver a bright, approachable profile that still packs a nutritional punch.
Turmeric is the golden anti-inflammatory spice that has moved from the spice rack to the wellness shelf. Its active compound, curcumin, is prized for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and a pinch of black pepper helps increase absorption. Turmeric adds a warm, slightly bitter taste - but that pairs so well with citrus and ginger. See how it works in…
In Little West’s Fireball, one can never have too much turmeric. The spice works with the ginger and lemons to create a drink that feels like a gut punch - in a good way. Turmeric adds both color and function, making the juice feel like a healthy choice.

If you want a one-day cleanse, keep it simple and realistic. The goal is effectiveness. A short reset can reduce bloating and boost mood, but it is not a cure-all. The first order of business will be to get a good supply of cold pressed juices. These will be the juices powering you through one day, so best to choose good quality ones.
During the cleanse, realistically, expect to be a little weaker. Heck, you may even get a little grumpy. So, doing the cleanse before coming back to work is key. Plan out a schedule as to when you’ll be drinking your juices, and do set a timer to help you keep track.
Juices cleansing often means skipping meals, but a handful of nuts when you really need something to eat is usually not an issue. Remember to also drink water!
People on medication, pregnant people, and those with medical conditions should consult a clinician before trying cleanses. Even if it’s just for a day, don’t take it lightly.
A five-day reset needs more planning. For a three-day plan, prepare by tapering alcohol and heavy foods a few days beforehand. Focus on vegetable broths, whole fruits, leafy greens, and modest protein.
Only go on longer cleanses if you have the time. Forcing yourself to go to work on a cleanse will greatly affect your output - especially if you haven’t gone on one before. Give yourself the best chance at succeeding by going on cleanses on days off.
The same goes here as with short cleanses. Don’t be afraid to eat something if you need to. Starving yourself won’t help anybody. There are no strict rules here. Adapt! And water is still key. Yes, you are meant to drink water and your juices during cleanses. One does not substitute the other. Expect to be very hydrated.
Reintroduce richer foods slowly. Don’t just tear into a steak immediately after your juice cleanse - much as it’s tempting to do so. Go for light soups, soft foods… Your stomach will thank you.
Little West knows how important juice selection is. You can’t juice go for a sugary, sweetened box juice and drink that on your New Year home cleanse. That’s a terrible idea! Start off on the right foot here by choosing our cold pressed juices. No added sweeteners, no concentrates, no additives, no watering down… All you get is juice that’s as good as the fruits themselves. Seriously. There are like two to four pounds of fruits and vegetables in every bottle!
